OCTOBER 2026

It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over

Two retrogrades, Scorpio season, and everything

you buried has kept your number.

Libra season was supposed to be love and harmony and balance — the month where everyone gets along and the table is beautifully set. Instead the sky hands us two inner planets in reverse. Venus stations retrograde on the 3rd. Mercury follows on the 24th. Both of them in Scorpio, the sign that never forgets, never mentions it, and then brings it up at precisely the moment it matters most. HOROSCOPES FOR ALL ZODIAC SIGNS

Why Lenny

If October had a musical director it would be Lenny Kravitz between 1990 and 1992, because that man lived an entire Venus retrograde in public, on record, and turned it into three masterpieces.

In 1990, Ingrid Chavez wrote a love letter to him. She never sent it. He asked her to read it into a microphone instead, one take, added a chorus, took it to Madonna, and it became "Justify My Love." Number one. She got no credit, so she sued. It settled in 1992. An unsent letter that became a global hit and then a lawsuit. That is Mercury retrograde in Scorpio in a single anecdote.

In 1991, his marriage to Lisa Bonet was ending and he wrote "It Ain't Over 'Til It's Over”, the most beautiful refusal to accept a thing is finished that anyone has ever recorded. Curtis Mayfield strings. + total conviction. A man in gorgeous, well-dressed denial, and it became the biggest hit of his life.

Then in 1992 he wrote and produced Vanessa Paradis's entire album — drums, bass, sitar, string arrangements, all of it — including a love song about himself which he had her sing. The single was "Be My Baby." The B-side was "The Future Song."

Side A: come back. Side B: what happens next.

They split in 1997. She went to Depp… he went on being Lenny.

and the album is still perfect.

That's the whole thesis. Venus retrograde doesn't ask do you want them back. It asks something harder: was it real and does it still count now that it's over? Sometimes the honest answer is yes, and yes, and it's still finished. All three at once.

What Venus Retrograde Actually Does

Venus reverses every eighteen months, but Venus retrograde in Scorpio and Libra runs on an eight-year clock. The last one was October+November 2018. Before that, 2010. Before that, 2002.

So here's the question that'll actually make you feel something:

What happened in your love life or your money situation in October and November 2018?

Go and look, that’s the thread being picked back up.

Because this is what Venus retrograde does. Exes return — and not all of them are a mistake. Some are a test you now pass easily, which is its own quiet gift. A few, uncomfortably, are the right answer you got wrong the first time. Money gets re-negotiated: old invoices, old debts, old salaries, and this is a genuinely excellent window to ask for what you should have asked for years ago. Your taste changes. You look at the sofa, the fringe, the tattoo, the relationship, and something in you goes hm… and you find out what you actually value, usually by briefly losing it.

Don't get married, cut a dramatic fringe, launch a rebrand, or start something serious with someone brand new. Do re-read, re-price, re-negotiate, re-visit, and let the ones who come back show you something before you decide what it means.

The Month Opens Hot

Ego meets the underworld when Mars in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius, on the 3rd. A control dynamic you've been quietly tolerating could get named out loud. The same day, Venus stations retrograde in Scorpio, until November 13th.

The following day the Sun in Libra opposes Saturn in Aries and the question is put to you plainly: where are you compromising, and where are you simply disappearing? Then on the 7th, Mercury fleetingly kisses Venus retrograde, the mind meets the reversed heart, and the words for the thing finally arrive. They arrive, of course, about something that already happened.

October 10: New Moon in Libra, 17°

Here's what makes this month genuinely strange, and it's worth reading twice. The ruler of this New Moon is Venus. And Venus is retrograde. A new beginning, in the sign of relationships, governed by a planet moving backwards. That is not a normal New Moon, but a new beginning that starts by going back.

The Moon being also opposite Saturn, a reality check is built into the invitation. Words, will, and power, are all pulling against each other. There's real luck available, but only if you're honest. The corresponding Full Moon is March 22nd, next year. So whatever you start here takes six months to show you what it is. Don't rush the verdict. You cannot start the new thing until you've finished the old one. Repair, then move.

The Middle: Light Through the Fog

The 15th, the Sun in Libra high-fives Jupiter in Leo, a genuinely lovely day this month. Say yes to whatever it is. On the 16th, Pluto stations direct at 3° Aquarius. After months in reverse, the deep transformation resumes forward motion. What you've been rebuilding privately starts moving publicly. This is quiet, and it is enormous.

The Venus Star Point ★

On the 23rd, Venus kisses the Sun. It's a full, lights-off, forget-the-room kind of kiss. For months she's been the evening star, the bright thing low in the west that everyone wishes on without knowing it's a planet. Then she walks straight into the Sun at 0° Scorpio and disappears into his arms. For a few days you can't see her at all.

This is the Venus Star Point. Astrologers call it cazimi.

Venus goes in as one thing and comes out as another, and a few days later she reappears before dawn as the morning star.

Every eight years Venus draws a perfect five-pointed star around the zodiac, one kiss at a time. This is one of the points. The last time she kissed the Sun here was October 26th, 2018. Whatever began, broke or went quiet in your love life or your money back then, this is where the thread comes back. It's the heart of the retrograde and the most important moment of the month. So here's what to do with it.

Before the kiss (the week of the 19th)
Go back to October 2018. Scroll your camera roll, your messages and your bank statements from that autumn. Who were you with? What were you paid? What did you want that you didn't ask for? Don't judge it, simply look. You're getting the old file out before Venus opens it.

On the 23rd: the kiss
This is a day for listening, not for doing.

Answer three questions:

What do I love now?

What am I worth now?

What am I finally ready to stop paying for, in money or in heart?

When she comes back (around the end of the month)
Once Venus is visible again, October 28th, as the morning star, get up once before dawn and look east. That bright point low above the horizon is her, back from the Sun. That's your cue: what you understood on the 23rd is now allowed to become a plan.

November 13th: open the letter
Venus and Mercury turn direct on the same day. Whatever still feels true is what you act on. Whatever doesn't was the retrograde talking.

Scorpio season begins on the 23rd too, and the lights go out so you can finally see,  then, on the 24th, Mercury turns around too. From now until November 13th, Venus and Mercury, the heart and the words, move backwards together, and they'll turn direct on the same day. The unsent letter arrives. Or the conversation you've been avoiding for eight years finally happens, in a kitchen, at midnight, with nobody quite sure who started it.

October 25: The Future Song

Venus retrograde reverses out of Scorpio and back into Libra, and it does not necessarily get easier, just slightly politer. The Scorpio phase was excavation, the buried thing, the power dynamic, the sexual truth, the money entanglement. The Libra phase asks a different and equally brutal question:

Not "did I love it.",

but "was it fair?".

Watch the temptation to smooth over with charm what Scorpio spent three weeks digging up. Libra will absolutely let you do that. Don't.

Full Moon in Taurus, 2°

A Full Moon in Taurus and its ruler is also Venus retrograde. Both moons this month are ruled by a planet in reverse. That's genuinely rare, and it tells you everything: October will not let you move forward without going back first. The Full Moon in Taurus sits almost exactly opposite Venus retrograde. The Moon and its own ruler, staring at each other across the sky. This is about relationships, all of them, and it is not going to be tactful.

The truth is lit and the wound is out in the open, and it's the vulnerability you don't perform, the one that's actually embarrassing. A power struggle could reach its head and all in all it all feels fated. Something you planted in the spring about money, about your body, about what you're worth  now reaches its full and slightly excruciating bloom.

The Through-Line

Libra season promised harmony and delivered a re-examination. Scorpio season arrives and turns the lights off so you can finally see. October is the month you go back, not because you're stuck, but because there's something back there you never finished, and it's been quietly costing you interest.

It ain't over 'til it's over.

If you do this properly, if you re-read it, re-price it, re-negotiate it, and let it be exactly what it was and nothing more: it's over. Gracefully and for good.

Side A: come back. Side B: the future song.

FORECASTS FOR THE SIGNS

READ FOR YOUR RISING & SUN

ARIES RISING • SUN • MOON

— It Ain't Over

Something could get your heart racing very early this October. Your ruler Mars opens the month in your house of romance, creativity and pleasure, opposing Pluto on the 3rd. Attraction has force behind it. So does the urge to make something extraordinary, take a chance, let somebody know you mean it. A friendship or group dynamic could complicate the story, particularly if everyone has an opinion about what you should want. Give your own desire a hearing before the committee gets involved.

The following day, the Sun opposes Saturn in your sign, and another person could ask you to get serious. About the relationship, or about your availability. About whether the life you say you want has room for them in it. You may find that something you assumed was casual has become important enough to require an answer.

Then the New Moon on the 10th opens a chapter in your partnership sector. With its ruler Venus retrograde, an unfinished connection could become newly compelling. Someone from the past may return with something different to offer, or a current relationship could recover a possibility you both stopped talking about. Even somebody new could bring you back to a question you thought you had settled. What would it take to let this become significant? Saturn asks for substance, and you may be more ready for it than you realise.

Venus has been moving backwards through your intimacy and shared money sector since the 3rd. An old financial arrangement, a complicated attachment, something dating back to 2018: there may be terms to revisit before you can move closer. The stakes rise when you begin imagining a future together. Who contributes what? What are you willing to share? How much trust has actually been earned?

On the 23rd, Venus enters the heart of the Sun, and a private realisation could change the conversation. You may understand why somebody matters, what you have been afraid to ask for, or how much you want to be met with the same intensity you bring. When Mercury turns retrograde the next day, give those discoveries words. An honest exchange could make closeness feel possible in a way it hasn't before.

The Full Moon on the 26th illuminates your money and self-worth. A payment, a decision, a meaningful gesture could show you where you stand. You may find yourself ready to name your price or express a need without apologising halfway through. There is something deeply attractive about knowing what you can offer and expecting it to be valued. Let October bring you closer to people who recognise the significance of both.

Power date: October 23. Venus in the heart of the Sun. Let someone know what matters.

TAURUS RISING • SUN • MOON

— Be My Baby

Someone could matter a great deal this October. Your ruler Venus stations retrograde in your partnership sector on the 3rd, and a relationship begins asking for your full attention. An old love could return. A current connection could become newly absorbing. Someone you thought you understood may reveal a feeling, a wish, a possibility that changes the atmosphere between you. Suddenly, there is more to discover.

You remember chemistry. You remember the way a particular person could make the whole evening feel charged before anything had happened. If that feeling returns, let yourself notice it. You also get to ask what has changed. A second chance becomes exciting when there is something new to build with: greater honesty, better timing, a willingness to show up that was missing before.

On the 7th, Mercury meets Venus, and a conversation could open a door. A message arrives with more feeling in it than you expected. Someone says what they meant years ago. You find the words for something you've struggled to explain. When Mercury turns retrograde in your relationship sector on the 24th, there may be another layer to uncover. Give an important exchange room to develop.

The New Moon on the 10th brings possibility into work, wellbeing and daily life. A former client, an old project or a routine you once enjoyed could deserve another look. Think about the life that would allow you to feel more available for love, creativity and pleasure. A promising relationship needs time in the calendar. So does the work you care about. One practical change could create much more space than you expect.

Then the 23rd brings Venus into the heart of the Sun in your partnership sector. This could be a revealing moment between you and somebody important. You may understand what you want from them, recognise what they are offering, or discover how ready you are for a deeper commitment. Pay attention to the conversation you keep replaying afterwards. Something in it may deserve a response.

Venus returns to Libra on the 25th, bringing the everyday details into focus. The plans you make, the care you take, the small ways you make each other's lives better: this is where a powerful feeling can begin to take shape.

On the 26th, the Full Moon lands in your sign. You could feel more visible, more emotionally certain, more ready to let the world see a change you've been making privately. Something you began in the spring may reach a point of recognition. Let yourself enjoy being noticed. You are allowed to want a love, a life and a future that feel as substantial as the effort you put into them.

Power date: October 23. Your ruler in the heart of the Sun. A connection worth paying attention to.

GEMINI RISING • SUN • MOON

— The Unsent Letter

October could bring back something you have missed more than you admitted. The person you could talk to until two in the morning. The project that made you forget to check your phone. The anticipation of having something deliciously unfinished waiting for you. With Venus retrograde from the 3rd, an old connection or creative possibility could begin finding its way into your everyday life again. It might start somewhere ordinary. A former colleague gets in touch. An old assignment reappears. A conversation at work becomes unexpectedly personal. By the time your ruler Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th, you may be reconsidering how you spend your days and who you want more time with. Something that once felt like a passing interest could deserve a proper place in your life.

On the 7th, Mercury meets Venus, and the words could arrive with feeling attached. A message you have rewritten in your head. An idea you suddenly know how to express. A conversation that reminds you how good it feels to be understood. Write down what comes. You may discover that you have something far more interesting to say than the careful version you were preparing.

Then the New Moon on the 10th falls in your house of romance, creativity and pleasure. This is an invitation to become absorbed in something again. An old attraction could regain its spark. An unfinished piece of work could reveal what it needs. Somebody new might awaken a playful, hungry part of you that has had very little room lately. With retrograde Venus ruling this Moon, returning to a previous passion could open a possibility you couldn't see the first time.

Uranus continues its longer revision of your identity, and your tastes may be changing along with your sense of yourself. Allow yourself to be surprised by what excites you now. You could want a different kind of relationship, a more adventurous creative outlet, a daily life with enough breathing room for an unexpected invitation. Follow the interest long enough to find out where it leads.

The Full Moon on the 26th illuminates your private world. A feeling you have kept to yourself could become impossible to misunderstand. An unsent letter may finally make sense, whether you deliver it or simply recognise what writing it has revealed. A quiet admission could carry enormous weight: you still care, you are ready to let go, you want to try. Give yourself room to hear the answer. What you recognise privately this month could shape a much more exciting next chapter.

Power date: October 7. Mercury meets Venus. A few honest words could open something extraordinary.

CANCER RISING • SUN • MOON

— The Old Flame, The Old Art

October could remind you just how much you still want. To be in love. To make something extraordinary. To feel that delicious anticipation when a name lights up your phone. Venus stations retrograde in your 5th house on the 3rd, romance, creativity, pleasure, children and something you thought you had put behind you starts making your heart race again.

An old flame could return, carrying the memory of who you were together and the question of what might still be possible. Or somebody new awakens a feeling you recognise immediately. You remember this chemistry. You also remember what happened last time. Let yourself be excited, but pay attention: what you choose now deserves to reflect who you have become. The unfinished love affair could be with your own talent. The manuscript, the music, the idea you couldn't quite leave alone. Something you began around 2018 may have more life in it than you realised. Pick it up. You have experience now that you couldn't have brought to it then, and October could give you a compelling reason to take it seriously.

The New Moon on the 10th brings a beginning in home, family and belonging. With its ruler Venus retrograde, an old dream of how you wanted to live comes back into consideration. Who would you share that life with? Where would you make it? A desire that once seemed impractical could become important enough to rearrange things for. Career responsibilities still need an answer, but so does the private life you keep postponing.

Then the 23rd brings Venus into the heart of the Sun in your romance and creativity sector. Pay attention to what moves you. A conversation, an encounter, a sudden burst of inspiration could bring a desire into focus with startling clarity. When Mercury turns retrograde the next day, there may be more to say, more to discover, another chapter to work through. You don't need the whole ending to recognise that something matters.

The Full Moon on the 26th illuminates friendship, community and your hopes for the future. Sharing your work could bring a meaningful response. A friendship could reveal unexpected depth. You may realise how much more is possible when the right people know what you're hoping for. Give them a chance to show up.

Power date: October 23. Your heart, in the heart of the Sun. Take what you want seriously.

LEO RISING • SUN • MOON

— Justify My Love

You could be impossible to overlook this October. Mars is in your sign, giving your desires urgency and your presence a little extra heat. On the 3rd, he opposes Pluto in your relationship sector, and an encounter could make it very clear how much is at stake. Attraction may be intense, so could a difference of opinion. Someone meets your force with their own, and you get to discover what happens when neither person can simply charm their way around the truth. Use that energy deliberately. You may be ready to pursue someone, champion a project or ask for more from an existing relationship. A strong connection needs room for two people with desires of their own. Pay attention to whether the exchange leaves you feeling more alive, more understood and able to be yourself.

Venus stations retrograde the same day in your home and family sector, bringing an old private dream back into view. A place you loved. Someone you associate with belonging. The life you imagined having before work and responsibility filled every available space. You could find yourself wanting to make a home with someone, return somewhere meaningful, or create a setting that feels more fully yours.

The New Moon on the 10th gives that desire a voice. A conversation, proposal or piece of writing could become the beginning of something important. With retrograde Venus ruling the Moon, revisit the idea you never quite explained or the invitation you were too proud to make. You may know how to say it now. Let people hear the enthusiasm as well as the polished presentation.

On the 15th, the Sun connects with Jupiter in your sign. There could be an opening worth enjoying: an introduction, an invitation, an encouraging response from somebody whose opinion matters. Make yourself available. Share the work. Let your interest show. Your confidence could give another person the confidence to say yes.

On the 23rd, Venus meets the Sun in your home sector, bringing a private wish into focus. When Mercury turns retrograde there the next day, a family conversation or domestic plan may need another look. Something significant could begin with admitting how you actually want to live.

Then the Full Moon on the 26th lights up your career and public life. A project could reach an audience. Your contribution could receive recognition. An ambition you've nurtured privately may become visible enough for others to take seriously. Let yourself feel the pleasure of that moment. You have put something of yourself into this, and October could give you a compelling reason to keep going.

Power date: October 15. Sun sextile Jupiter. Let them see what you can do.

VIRGO RISING • SUN • MOON

— The Letter Never Sent

A conversation could become the most exciting part of your October. The kind you keep thinking about afterwards. The message that changes your mood for the entire day. The exchange that begins innocently and suddenly touches something you've wanted for years. Venus stations retrograde in your communication sector on the 3rd, and your ruler Mercury follows on the 24th. There is more to say, and somebody may be ready to listen.

An old connection could come back into reach. Someone from the neighbourhood, school, a former circle, or the person who used to know every detail of your day. You may find that the ease between you is still there, with new depth beneath it. A conversation left hanging around 2018 could take on fresh significance. So could an idea you never gave a proper chance.

On the 7th, Mercury meets Venus, and words have warmth, charm and emotional weight. You could receive a revealing message or discover how to express something you've kept carefully contained. A pitch, a piece of writing, an honest declaration could carry more of you than usual. Give it your attention. You may have been waiting for perfect wording when what the moment needs is your actual voice.

The New Moon on the 10th falls in your money and self-worth sector. An old skill, client or project could become the starting point for a more ambitious chapter. Look again at something you do exceptionally well and have been treating as ordinary. There may be a stronger offer to make, a clearer price to name, a bigger role to consider. With Saturn involved, shared resources and commitments need careful discussion. Take the possibility seriously enough to work through the details.

Early in the month, Mars opposing Pluto could expose how much energy your current routine demands. When Pluto turns direct on the 16th, changes to your working life may begin to move. You could become more decisive about where your effort belongs. Making space for an absorbing project or meaningful connection may require changing an arrangement that has become automatic.

Then the Full Moon on the 26th illuminates travel, learning, publishing and your wider horizons. Something could reach people beyond your usual circle. A course, journey or long-distance connection may become more significant. You might encounter an idea that makes your future feel bigger than it did a week ago.

Let curiosity have consequences. Send the enquiry. Explore the possibility. Give the work an audience. October could remind you how much can begin when you allow a conversation to go somewhere new.

Power date: October 7. Mercury meets Venus. Say the thing that opens the door.

LIBRA RISING • SUN • MOON

— The Future Song

Your ruling planet is turning back towards you, and October makes that personal. Venus stations retrograde on the 3rd in your house of money and self-worth, then returns to your sign on the 25th. Desire, attraction, the way you carry yourself, the things you are willing to ask for: all of it is open for reconsideration. An old ambition could become irresistible again. So could a person. You may surprise yourself with how much you want, once you stop editing the answer. Money is part of this story because it gives your choices consequences. What would you charge if you believed in the work? What would you pursue if you expected to be taken seriously? An old offer, client or talent could deserve another look. Venus retrograde asks you to examine the terms, especially where being liked has become more important than being properly valued.

The Sun opposes Saturn on the 4th, and a relationship makes its demands clear. Someone may want a commitment, a decision, an answer you can stand behind. Then the New Moon on the 10th falls in your own sign. Your annual beginning arrives with real emotional weight: who you want to become has implications for who gets to come with you. With Venus retrograde ruling this Moon, an unfinished personal story may hold the key. You could return to a desire you set aside for someone else, or reopen a possibility you thought you had missed. Give it room to develop. There is something exciting about recognising that you still have a choice, particularly where you had begun to assume you didn't.

On the 23rd, Venus meets the Sun, and a realisation about your worth could change what you are willing to ask of love. Mutual desire. Generosity. Someone who makes plans and follows through. You may find yourself ready to say something you've softened for years. When Venus returns to Libra on the 25th, that discovery becomes deeply personal. How do you want to look, feel, love and be loved now?

The Full Moon on the 26th brings intimacy, shared money and trust to a culmination. A connection could deepen through a revealing conversation. A shared commitment could become tangible. Where the balance of power has been uneven, the terms may finally need to change. There is passion here, and vulnerability, and the possibility of letting someone closer because you have told them the truth.

Power date: October 23. Your ruler, reborn in the heart of the Sun. Ask for the love you actually want.

SCORPIO RISING • SUN • MOON

— Both. In Your Sign.

You could be very difficult to forget this October. Venus stations retrograde in your sign on the 3rd, and Mercury follows on the 24th, bringing unfinished business directly to your door. Someone remembers you. Someone has something to say. And you may discover that a desire you thought you had outgrown still has the power to make your pulse jump.

An ex could return, obviously. So could the confidence, ambition or appetite you associate with an earlier version of yourself. Think back to 2018. What did you want then? What did you begin, and what did you talk yourself out of? Something from that chapter could feel alive with possibility again. This time, you know more about what you are bringing to it, and what you need in return. With Venus retracing your sign, attraction becomes personal. Being wanted can feel wonderful, especially when the chemistry is this strong, but your own response deserves just as much attention. Who excites you? Who makes you feel able to reveal more of yourself? You could find yourself wanting a deeper kind of encounter, with enough honesty to match the heat. A conversation you've rehearsed for years may finally have somewhere to go.

On the 3rd, Mars opposes Pluto, bringing pressure between career and home. An ambition could demand more space in your life, or a private situation could make it impossible to keep working on the old terms. When Pluto turns direct on the 16th, a decision about home, family or your foundations may begin to move. There is power in having somewhere to build from. Something you change behind closed doors could give you the confidence to make a much more visible move.

Then comes the 23rd. Venus kisses the Sun in your sign, and what you want could become startlingly clear. A meeting, an admission, a moment in front of the mirror: something brings you back into contact with your own desire. You might recognise how ready you are to fall in love, to be seen, to put your name to something that matters. Let that recognition carry some weight. You have spent enough time considering what could go wrong to give what could go beautifully some attention.

Scorpio season begins, and Mercury turns retrograde on the 24th. The words may take another attempt. Someone may need to explain themselves, including you. Give an important conversation enough room to become honest.

The Full Moon in Taurus on the 26th brings a relationship into full view. Feelings could be declared. A connection could reach a turning point. You may discover whether someone is willing to meet you with the same depth and intention you are offering. The intensity can be thrilling; what you learn about each other gives it somewhere to go. Let yourself want something significant, and look closely at what the two of you could make possible.

Power date: October 23. Venus in the heart of the Sun, in your sign. A desire worth coming back to yourself for.

SAGITTARIUS RISING • SUN • MOON

— The Underwater Month

Something could feel quietly irresistible this October. A person you haven't stopped thinking about. A dream you have kept to yourself. The possibility of a life you almost chose and still sometimes imagine. Venus stations retrograde in your 12th house on the 3rd, bringing private desires back within reach. You may be surprised by how much feeling is still there.

An old love could occupy your thoughts, or a connection could develop away from the usual audience. There is a particular excitement in discovering something before anyone else has an opinion about it. Give yourself room to find out what you feel. If another person is involved, pay attention to whether that privacy gives the relationship space to grow and whether you both want the same things.

When Mercury turns retrograde here on the 24th, an unfinished conversation could become important again. You might finally understand what you wanted to say, or recognise how deeply somebody's words affected you. Memories, dreams and creative ideas may feel unusually vivid. Write down what catches your attention. Something you can barely explain could become the beginning of work you care about enormously.

The New Moon on the 10th opens a chapter in friendship, community and your hopes for the future. An old friend could reconnect you with an ambition you had quietly abandoned. A group, collaboration or invitation may remind you how good it feels to have people to imagine things with. Let someone know what you're interested in. They may have a possibility to offer that you couldn't have found alone.

Then the 15th brings the Sun into a supportive connection with Jupiter, your ruler, in your house of travel, learning and discovery. An introduction, an invitation or a chance to share your work could make the world feel wonderfully available again. A place you've wanted to visit, a subject you want to study, someone whose life is very different from yours: follow the interest. There could be more here than you initially expect.

On the 23rd, Venus meets the Sun in your private sector, and a feeling could become unmistakable. You may realise you still love someone, that you are ready to release an old attachment, or that a dream deserves another chance. You don't have to announce the discovery immediately. Let it change the choices you make.

The Full Moon on the 26th brings your work and daily routines into focus. A project could reach completion, freeing time for something you have missed. You may see exactly where a practical change would make life more enjoyable. Give that private desire a place in your actual week. Something important could begin with making yourself available for it.

Power date: October 15. Sun sextile Jupiter. An invitation could make the future feel bigger.

CAPRICORN RISING • SUN • MOON

— The Group Chat Becomes a Crime Scene

Someone you already know could become a very exciting part of your future. Venus stations retrograde in your friendship and community sector on the 3rd, and an old connection starts asking for another look. A friend may reveal a feeling you hadn't realised was mutual. A former collaborator could return with an idea you immediately want to hear more about. Someone who knew what you wanted years ago may remind you that the possibility still exists.

There could be real pleasure in discovering how much has survived the distance. The humour is still there. So is the creative chemistry. And perhaps the attraction you both politely ignored has become rather difficult to overlook. When Mercury turns retrograde in the same sector on the 24th, a conversation may return to the point where you left it. Give each other room to have changed. What you could make together now deserves its own consideration.

Early October also asks you to take your ambitions seriously enough to examine the practical terms. Mars opposing Pluto on the 3rd could bring a shared financial arrangement into focus. The following day, the Sun opposes your ruler Saturn, highlighting the demands of career and home. A promising possibility may require a decision about time, money or support. Work through the details while your enthusiasm is fresh.

The New Moon on the 10th falls at the top of your chart, in your career and reputation sector. An old employer, contact or unfinished project could open a professional chapter you once hoped for. You may be invited to revisit something with more experience, a stronger reputation and a clearer sense of what you can offer. Let yourself feel the excitement of being considered. You have grown into capabilities that may once have felt just beyond your reach.

When Pluto turns direct in your money sector on the 16th, you could feel more decisive about how to use those capabilities. A question of pricing, ownership or where to invest your effort may become clearer. An ambition becomes much more compelling when you can begin to see how it might support the life you want.

On the 23rd, Venus meets the Sun in your friendship sector. Someone's significance could become clear through a conversation, a gesture or the simple fact that they understand what you're trying to do. Pay attention to the people who make you feel more confident about your future.

Then the Full Moon on the 26th illuminates romance, creativity and pleasure. A connection could reach a moment of honesty. A creative project may be ready to share. Something you have cared for privately could receive a response that makes the effort feel worthwhile. Let yourself enjoy it without immediately setting the next target. You are allowed to be moved by what is happening now.

Power date: October 16. Pluto turns direct. Put more confidence behind what you have to offer.

AQUARIUS RISING • SUN • MOON

— Pluto Turns Around

You could feel ready to make a move this October. Something you've been reconsidering privately begins to acquire direction, and the people around you may notice a new certainty in the way you speak, choose and carry yourself. Pluto turns direct in your sign on the 16th. A change that has taken time to understand could become something you are ready to act on.

Another person may bring that change into focus early. On the 3rd, Mars opposes Pluto from your partnership sector, giving an encounter intensity. Someone could challenge you, attract you, ask more of you than you expected. You may discover how differently you respond now. There can be excitement in meeting someone who holds your attention and has enough presence to meet yours. Let the exchange reveal whether there is room for both of you to grow.

Venus stations retrograde in your career sector the same day, bringing an old ambition back into consideration. A former boss, client or collaborator could reappear. Work you did some time ago may attract fresh interest. You might recognise that you still want the role, the audience or the opportunity you once convinced yourself was out of reach. Give that desire some attention. Your experience may have changed what is possible.

When Mercury turns retrograde here on the 24th, a professional conversation could reopen. There may be a proposal to refine, an introduction to revisit, a clearer way to describe what you want to do. Take time with the words. You could be defining a direction that matters well beyond this month.

The New Moon on the 10th opens your house of travel, learning, publishing and wider horizons. An old course, a place you hoped to visit or an unfinished piece of writing could become newly relevant to your work. A partner or collaborator may help you see further than you have been looking. You might find yourself imagining a future with a different audience, a different setting, a much larger field of possibility.

On the 23rd, Venus meets the Sun at the top of your chart. What you want to be known for could become remarkably clear. A response to your work may carry particular weight, or you may recognise an ambition you are finally willing to name. Let that understanding shape your next conversation.

The Full Moon on the 26th brings home and family into focus. A domestic decision could help make a professional possibility workable. You may want more privacy, a new place to live, or a home that reflects the person you have become. Give your private life the same imagination you bring to your future. Having somewhere you want to return to can make you much braver about where you go next.

Power date: October 16. Pluto turns direct in your sign. Let your next move reflect who you are becoming.

PISCES RISING • SUN • MOON

— The One From Abroad

A person, a place or a possibility could make your world feel wonderfully larger this October. Venus stations retrograde in your house of travel, learning and discovery on the 3rd, and an old horizon comes back into view. Someone from elsewhere may get in touch. A journey you postponed could regain its appeal. A book, course or creative ambition you left unfinished might suddenly feel too important to keep postponing. You may remember exactly how you felt when you first wanted it. The anticipation. The curiosity. The sense that following this interest could change your life. Give yourself permission to find out what remains possible. You have more experience now, and perhaps a clearer understanding of why this mattered so much in the first place.

If a connection stretches across distance, the conversation could become particularly absorbing. There is pleasure in discovering another person's world and letting them into yours. When Mercury turns retrograde in the same sector on the 24th, an old exchange may resume with more honesty or a more practical question attached. When could you see each other? What would it take to continue? Something that has lived largely in the imagination may deserve a real discussion.

The New Moon on the 10th falls in your house of intimacy and shared resources. A relationship or collaboration could reach the point where you begin considering what you might build together. Revisiting an existing arrangement may create room for a new possibility. Talk about expectations, contributions and what each of you needs to feel secure. Clear terms can make it much easier to enjoy the excitement of choosing something together.

On the 15th, the Sun connects with Jupiter, in your work and daily life sector. A useful opportunity could help a larger dream feel achievable. A project may move forward, support could arrive, or a practical detail could fall into place. Take satisfaction in that progress. The ordinary arrangements are often what allow an extraordinary idea to become part of your life.

Then the 23rd brings Venus into the heart of the Sun in your house of wider horizons. You could recognise where you want to go, what you want to learn or which possibility still has your heart. A conversation with someone far away may carry surprising significance. So could a response to your writing, teaching or creative work. Let yourself take the interest seriously.

The Full Moon on the 26th illuminates words, messages and conversations. News could arrive. A piece of work may be ready to share. You might finally say something that allows another person to understand the scale of what you want. Be specific enough to give them something to respond to. A journey can begin with a date, a proposal, a sentence you are finally ready to send.

Power date: October 23. Venus in the heart of the Sun. A possibility worth making plans for.
